How to care for your hair!
Unlike houseplants, she probably won’t die if you forget about her for a few days, but she will appreciate a little love and attention time to time.
All of my wigs are made with 100% human hair. With proper care, your wig can stay soft, silky, beautiful, and hauntingly gorgeous for a very long time.
My Personal Holy Grail Products

How Often Should I Wash My Wig?
Honestly? Your wig will usually tell you.
If she’s feeling heavy, dull, tangly, or just generally acting like she’s going through something, it’s probably wash day.
As a general guideline:
✦ Daily wear: Every 2–4 weeks
✦ Occasional wear: Whenever needed
✦ Sweaty adventures, festivals, emotional breakdowns, & humidity may require more frequent washing.
Try not to over-wash your wig. Too much washing can dry the hair out over time, and we want her looking ethereal, not ghastly.
Washing Your Wig
Rule number one:
Be gentle.
Step One: Shampoo
Use the coldest water you possibly can
Gently smooth shampoo through the hair from top to bottom.
Do not scrub.
Do not rub.
Do not swirl her around in the sink like you’re mixing cake batter.
Simply let the shampoo glide through the hair and rinse thoroughly.
If your wig contains multiple colors, try to keep sections separated while washing to help maintain vibrancy and prevent unnecessary tangling.
Step Two: Conditioner
Apply conditioner mainly to the mid-lengths and ends.
Avoid the lace whenever possible.
Conditioner near the knots can loosen them over time, which means more shedding and fewer good hair days.
Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly with cold water.
Step Three: Deep Conditioning
Now it’s time for the good stuff.
Apply a moisturizing hair mask and let your wig soak up all the hydration she desires.
I personally love Silicone Mix for this.
Leave it on for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or however long your heart desires.
Just avoid combing or brushing the hair while it’s wet.
Wet hair is fragile, dramatic, and prone to bad decisions.
Drying Your Wig
Air drying is always my favorite option.
Gently squeeze out excess water and lay your wig flat on a clean towel or hang her on a wig hanger.
Try to avoid drying wet wigs on a canvas head, as it can stretch the lace over time.
If you need to blow dry:
✦ Use heat protectant
✦ Use low heat
✦ Be patient
Once completely dry, detangle carefully with a wide-tooth comb, starting at the ends and working upward.
Slow and steady wins the battle against knots.
Styling Your Wig
The good news?
Human hair wigs can be curled, straightened, blown out, and styled just like natural hair.
The less good news?
Human hair still hates being cooked.
Always use a heat protectant and keep temperatures as low as possible.
A tiny amount of Silk Drops Lite Hair Oil on the ends can help add shine, softness, and keep frizz from attempting its usual nonsense.
Avoid applying oils, serums, or treatments directly onto the lace or cap.
The lace likes to stay clean and unbothered.
Storing Your Wig
When your wig isn’t accompanying you on adventures, she deserves a cozy place to rest.
I recommend:
✦ Hanging her on a wig hanger
✦ Storing her in the satin bag included with your order
✦ Keeping her away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture
Wearing Your Wig
All of my wigs are designed to be worn glueless.
Throw her on and go!
If you prefer an ultra-seamless hairline, you can absolutely use adhesive or a wig grip.
Neither method is right or wrong—it simply depends on your preference.
At the end of the day, wigs should be fun.
Wear her whenever & wherever you desire
Just remember to treat her kindly, and she’ll stay beautiful for many adventures to come.
